I just wanted to drop you a email to thank everyone at MHC Oss for hosting Thirsk H.C. on Wednesday evening. We were blown away by the welcome and the amount of support you had at the club. Your ground itself was awesome - we were very jealous of your club house. The amount of people who came to watch was also amazing. Hockey in England is not so well supported. Our girls had an amazing time whilst in Holland and were blown away by what they saw at every club we visited. One of the highlights of the trip for me was seeing how the teams bonded after the match - my own daughter was on the tour and she's shown me the various Tik-Tok videos they made together in the changing room, and the fact they've all exchanged various social media accounts. It's fantastic to see that sport can bring together people from different cultures and unite them in such a way. The way Oss played their hockey was a real eye opener for our teams as well. Yesterday they couldn't stop talking about what an incredible team you were and how there's aspects of your play that they want to replicate.

Thank-you for making us feel so welcome and helping us to provide such a opportunity to our teams. We intend to tour again in 2026 - hopefully we might come back for a rematch 🙂
